After getting our daily dose of The Hundreds blog, Justincredible felt it was necessary to take a trip to the Mitsuwa Marketplace off Centinela for lunch. Justin has been going to eat this Japanese market for a while, and now that his secret spot has been revealed, the crew had to get some of the best Japanese food in town. After an amazing lunch and great discussion we hit the market for some sweet treats! The grape flavored candy is awesome, and the Ramune drinks are way cool. I’m pretty convinced that the bright colored packaging makes everything taste better.
Being that we are on the topic of sweet treats… if you feel the need to get in the holiday spirit, head out to Trader Joe’s and pick up a box of Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s. Think Oreo’s mixed with Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies… Oh the Peppermint goodness!
Cashmere Agency at the Nike Sportswear FIGHT NIGHT – De La Hoya vs. Pacquiao

Where were you the night Manny Pacquiao beat Oscar De La Hoya? Cashmere was at the Nike presents FIGHT NIGHT at the Montalban in Hollywood, CA.
In Los Angeles, a select group of community members and industry tastemakers were invited to watch the fight at the historic Montalban Theater (yes, it’s named after Ricardo Montalban, man who played KHAN in Star Trek)
The fight screening was sponsored by Nike in conjunction with community organization Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) and was billed as the Manny Pacquiao fan headquarters. At the Montalban, Pacquiao imagery and memorabilia was displayed throughout the first floor of the venue. They even sold t-shirts, the proceeds of which were donated to SIPA.
After the fight
The winning event will be ingrained in the memories of many, especially for Filipinos, whom Pacquiao is not only a sports icon, but a symbol of success from poverty, and the Philippines’ pride. He has helped put the Philippines back on the global map, the attention he brings to the country has helped the economy as well through tourism and exposure for the country.
A lucky few will proudly say that they were at the fight in Las Vegas to witness history happen. Most will tell a tale of gathering at a house loaded with food, friend and family as they cheered on their hero on a television screen.

Sam has Britney’s Back!
MS. BRITNEY SPEARS CAME BACK!!! Oh what a glorious week when Ms. Britney Spears came back from her stint of having babies and marrying a complete D-bag! She looks absolutely incredible, she has her body back in shape and is dancing like she use to! Please let’s all disregard 2007 completely. I am a Britney fan and am glad she is back, the rest of you are closet fans, so…. COME OUT ALREADY! I know you guys all secretly enjoyed, possibly cried,when you watched Britney:For The Record. So here’s to Britney… And here’s to you CHRIS CROCKER for keeping the faith.

A very interesting archaeological find occurred this week when a 2,700 year old grave in the Gobi Desert was excavated
and nearly two pounds of still green plant material was found. It is now identified as the world’s oldest marijuana stash.
Scientists have done testing on the marijuana, and concluded that it contained psychoactive properties which shows that
ancients grew the plant for other purposes than just clothing and rope.

Still A little Magic
Starting today, French artist, Miss Van will be presenting her new project entitled, “Still A little Magic.” Since she’s not in the States very often this exhibition is a must! Unfortunately, it is only showing in San Francisco, but if you’re in the area, make sure you stop by! Miss Van will be showing her work alongside Bay Area artist, Jeremy Fish, who will be releasing his latest project called, “Ghosts of The Barbary Coast.”
