The Renaissance: Discover. Collab. Create
Monday, January 19th, 2009
2008 was the year of new beginnings and 2009 is the year to shine. We’ve experienced nuances and replicas of our history in more ways than one. We not only want to acknowledge that, but celebrate that which brought us to this point. Our American history, Our struggle, Our revolution. Let’s call it Renaissance: Discover. Collab. Create.
Discovering that it took the fight, the call to justice, and the vision of leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr. to produce a Barack Obama. Barack Obama has renewed our interest in the democratic political process, giving credit to the heroes that paved the way to a UNITED States of America. Now that we have a leader for the people, it’s time for the people to collaborate and create a better you, a better me, a better we, a better us.
The Cashmere Agency and friends are joining together in its 1st Annual Mixer: The Renaissance Inauguration Party to celebrate our history that has given us a wonderful present…the First African-American President of the United States…excuse me, the 44th President of the United States of America. E Pluribus Unum…“Out of Many, One”

Staying in Tune With Nature
Friday, January 16th, 2009
Okay, we’ve all been going through tough times with the economy, society, and whatever else is wrong with life. But it’s inventions like this one that allow you to mentally escape your issues!
This Holiday Villa crafted by ARTechnic in Japan offers a very futuristic style of living. The spacecraft looking villa was specifically structured to be the center of “nature” (hence, the plethora of trees that surround the
building). Can you say relaxation?
“Being in sync with nature isn’t about yielding to nature it’s about coexistence. The existence of the structure depends on its power to endure nature.” – Kotaro Ide of ARTechnic
Ted Chung on What’s G?
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009
Have you seen the new What’s G? commercials by Gatorade featuring Lil Wayne and many big name athletes? If you haven’t you definitely need to check them out!
The good folks over at Gatorade recently sent Ted a tastemaker “What’s G?” package. You know it’s a dope gift when it comes in a ZERO Halliburton custom G case. The case was packed with some fly gear from Leroy Jenkins, a pre-loaded iPod Touch, a set of custom “G” Bose headphones and a gang of Gatorade.
Check out the video of Ted showing off the goodies he got, along with some other fly promo items he has recieved over the years.
Motorola Aura
Monday, January 12th, 2009
This phone isn’t new to the market, but it is such a sharp looking phone that it was deemed blog worthy. The look of this phone definitely makes up for the weak functionality. The housing material, build quality, keys, assisted-opening blade mechanism, and sapphire crystal lens are all perfectly done, the display — while admittedly tiny — is nothing short of completely stunning. The only down side to this phone is the price tag.
OGBC beach cruisers are sooo OG

The low rider-influenced bike design is simple like a classic car or Converse chucks. It has such detail of white wall tires, 26″ rims and 68 spoke wheels with bullet tire caps. I got the Gun Metal Grey color with the chopper style handle bars. Now I got a cool-ass bike to cruise around on to match the style of my ‘67 Lincoln Continental that I ride. Keepin’ it straight G.
