UncategorizedHappy Turkey Day!
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
For many families and cultures, Thanksgiving holds a different, yet sincere meaning (aside from its historical and political institution dated as early as the 18th century). However, for most it is a time to be thankful not just in words, but in actions – just as the quote above references. We travel near and far to celebrate the holiday and spend time with family and friends. We cook, eat, laugh and we express thanks and love to those we hold dear. And for that…
Cashmere Agency wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving!! Take time to express your thanks and gratitude!

Facebook, Twitter come Xbox and Playstation Consoles
Tuesday, November 17th, 2009
After this past June’s announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Facebook and Twitter integration into gaming is finally coming to fruition. Starting today with the latest Xbox 360 firmware update, console owners will now be able to check and update their social networking accounts through Xbox Live.
With the popularity of online multi-player games and social networking sites, Microsoft’s incorporation of these two social networking sites is a no-brainer. Microsoft’s making it easier to connect and keep up with your friends and followers in a one stop virtual hub.
Facebook’s integration isn’t limited to the Xbox console. For PS3 owners out there, Facebook will launch on the PlayStation Network next week. Besides allowing users the option to send status updates on the PlayStation servers, developers are going to use the new tool to integrate gaming news and updates when they occur, something effectively incorporated into the promotion of recent Sony film and gaming titles like Uncharted 2. Check out how to update your Facebook and Twitter through Xbox in the video below.

Al Farrow – “Reliquaries”
Friday, November 13th, 2009
![]()
We’re all about peace and love here at Cashmere, but we recently came across an artist who created an entire collection using only bullets and guns. Meet Al Farrow and take a look at his “Reliquaries” work — a gang (no pun intended) of sculptures that he has assembled with guns and bullets that we see glorified in urban culture every day. The man behind the guns has over 20 years of bronze casting experience and his work has been displayed all around the world from San Francisco to Hong Kong. He also has collections of steel heads, women, African series, Icarus series, beggars, Mimbres series and more — but the bullet sculptures are especially impressive. Check out Farrow’s extensive and creative collection here: http://www.alfarrow.com/reliquaries/
