Atlanta was a highly anticipated show thanks to the large existing fan base of both Donald Glover and his rap pseudonym, Childish Gambino. To boost the show’s presence and highlight its dreamlike and hyper-realistic quality, we developed a series of creative imagery and philosophical copy for the show’s official social media platforms, along with an experiential extension in Atlanta that engaged the core audience. The creative concepts were strategically implemented to generate buzz in the weeks leading up to the premiere and to encourage audience tune-in and engagement during the season.
