Snoop Dogg Shows True Blood Some Love!

Monday, June 21st, 2010

After last night’s new episode of True Blood, HBO aired a music video inspired by its vampire series from one of its biggest fans, Snoop Dogg.

As a tribute to one of his fave shows, “Oh Sookie” is pretty clever. With five Sookie background dancers, cloves of garlic hanging from his car’s rear view mirror, all the while  Snoop is doin’ his thang in front of Merlotte’s Diner.

Is this the first step towards the an actual Snoop?  Only time will tell, but hip-hop and True Blood fans may not have to wait much longer for a cameo by the Boss Dogg on the show.

If you haven’t done so already, check out the hilarious ode to True Blood below. And don’t forget, True Blood airs Sundays 9pm EST/PST all summer, only on HBO!

Get Yo Vote on for Sunday’s 2010 MTV Movie Awards Now!

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Question: What should you expect? Answer: The unexpected! The MTV Movie Awards never fails to disappoint with its shocking vulgarities and LOL moments. For many of us, we simply look forward to the feel of summer and the look of A-listers as they hit the red carpet. For others, it’s the enjoyment of voting your favorite actors and films into the ring of nods. However, there are just a few of us that are struck with last year’s visualization of Bruno falling from the sky and “bum-barding” Eminem.

Simply, how can MTV stay in their lane, and yet make this production bigger, better and FUNNIER? This is food for thought of course, but there are very high expectations for this year’s host, Aziz Ansari, to make it a night to remember.

Hot fashion, hot actors and entertainers, hot Performances and stage design and most of all hot talent being rewarded with the infamous “golden popcorn” award. A night we all look forward to. Join Cashmere in breaking down your votes in the range of categories from “Best Kiss” to “Best Movie”…right here on MovieAwards.MTV.com.

Cashmere says Good-Bye to Lost

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Last night millions bid a bittersweet farewell to Lost, as the cult-like drama concluded its iconic television run. Many, including two of Cashmere’s own diehard ‘Losties’ (I’m sure everyone guessed Anthony, but whodathunk Rona?) watched as Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Ben, Hurley, and Locke, graced our television screens for the final time.

A day later, the internet and blogosphere is still abuzz trying to decipher every minute mystery that the creative team of Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse crafted over the past six years. While the faithful Lost audience could not get answers to every question that emerged throughout the show’s storied run, longtime Lost fans were treated to an endearing, happy ending (of sorts) for the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815.

In case you missed it, the series finale of Lost will repeat this Saturday, May 29th at 8pm on ABC. And check out the lost themed videos below: three alternate endings to the series finale and Jimmy Kimmel’s tribute to the show for his “This Week in Unnecessary Censorship” bit. And for the few that might have ‘lost’ count, College Humor compiled a comprehensive list of all the Lost unanswered questions into one video.
