This past Friday, Cashmere celebrated its extended family by hosting a retreat at the LA hot spot, the Kim Sing Theatre.
Members of all teams met for a fun filled day of learning more about Cashmere, celebrating this year’s wins, and hearing from one of the most powerful men in the biz, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos.
The theme of this year’s retreat was Red Hot due to Founder Ted Chung’s love of hot sauce. Hot sauce is one of the most diverse condiments in the world, contributing to the melting pot that is the US
We started off the day with some of LA’s Famous Hot Chicken, Howlin’ Rays. If you want some 🔥 🔥 hot chicken, check them out in Chinatown!
Our President and Co-Founder, Seung Chung, opened the retreat with an anecdote, letting us know more about his journey to Cashmere and where we are today. Kyle Dineen, our Director of Social Strategy, dove into our Cashmere social platforms MMXLI, Respect the West, and Cashmere Agency. Ryan Ford, our EVP/CCO took us from the present into the future of Cashmere, and Ted Chung, Cashmere’s Co-Founder chopped it up with Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos for a REAL DEAL TED Talk.
The Cashmere Annual Retreat is a time for the team to get to know the Agency better, as well as an opportunity for us to get to know one another.
Teams participated in a dope team building exercise – the annual Spaghetti Tower Challenge. Three teams were pitted against each other in an all out battle, and only one came out victorious, holding gloating rights for a full year (well, until next year’s retreat).
Cashmere’s team of teams is ready to take on the second half of 2017! #CashmereSummer
